Edna Mae Hoge, 95, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at her home. She was born in Cambridge on July 13, 1925 and was a daughter of the late Waldo and Lillian Slacum Robinson.
Mrs. Hoge graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1942. On December 18, 1964, she married Franklin L. Hoge, who passed away on February 14, 2014. She worked at Dorchester General Hospital for over 30 years. Mrs. Hoge enjoyed playing canasta, and cooking. She was a life time member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she sung in the church choir, Dr. Hines Bible Class and Baraca Class.
She is survived by three nieces Colleen Webster and husband James of Princess Anne, Cynthia Causey and husband Bob of Salisbury, and Gretchen Nichols and husband Ernest of Cambridge, two cousins Lorraine Whalen of California and Walter Wilson of Tennessee, and numerous other cousins.
A private graveside service will be held at Dorchester Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P. O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
