Edward "Eddie" Ebben McGlaughlin

Edward “Eddie” E. McGlaughlin, 59, of Crapo passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at UMSMC at Dorchester. He was born in Cambridge on October 27, 1956 and was a son of Alene McGlaughlin and the late William James “Bill Tuck” McGlaughlin.
He graduated from South Dorchester High School class of 1975. Eddie had worked on the water and later he was a truck driver. He enjoyed doing string art.
He is survived by his mother Alene McGlaughlin of Bishops Head, a brother Jira McGlaughlin of Cambridge, two nieces Monica Duperron and husband David of Clarksville, DE and Jennifer McGlaughlin of Cambridge, a great niece Jira Duperron, a great nephew David Duperron, and an uncle Willis McGlaughlin of Cambridge. Besides his father, Eddie is preceded in death by two aunts Norma Phillips and Anna Belle Birch.
Pallbearers will be David Duperron, Sr., David Duperron, Jr., Shannon Dawson, Tawes Harper, Sr., Donnie Simmons and Randy Simmons. Honorary pallbearer will be Eddie Mooney.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 12 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Michael LaClair officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
