Edward L. Weber, Sr.

Edward L. Weber, Sr., 77, of Secretary passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Mallard Bay Care Center. He was born in Altoona, PA on February 1, 1946 and was a son of the late John Martin Weber and Alma Minnie Williamson Weber.

Mr. Weber attended schools in Dorchester County. On October 10, 1970, he married the former Cindy Spear. He was a waterman and a brick layer. Mr. Weber enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Weber of Secretary, two sons Edward L. Weber, Jr.  and wife Tina of Cambridge and Wm. George Weber of Secretary, a daughter Jessica Long of Cambridge, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a brother Elmer Weber of Hudson, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mr. Weber is preceded in death by a brother John David Weber and two sisters Margaret Borga and Hellen Benner.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 1 pm at the Cambridge Wesleyan Church with Rev. Jack Diehl officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cambridge Wesleyan Church, P.O. Box 553, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
