Elizabeth A. "Beth" Slacum

Elizabeth A. "Beth" Slacum, 60 of Cambridge passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011 at Dorchester General Hospital. She was born in Cambridge on June 29, 1951 and was a daughter of the late Louise Elzey Eskridge and Woolford Slacum.
Beth attended schools in Dorchester County. She was a homemaker. Beth enjoyed being with her family. She was a member of Countryside Christian Church.
She is survived by a daughter Robin L. Miller of Cambridge, two grandchildren James Hurley and Carly Miller, a sister Darlene Bramble and husband Eddie of Cambridge, a special nephew Ryan Bramble, a stepbrother Robert Eskridge, Jr., a special friend Kathy Malkus and numerous aunts and uncles. Besides her parents, Beth is preceded in death by a sister Diane Smith and her step father Robert Eskridge, Sr.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Countryside Christian Church with Rev.'s Phil Sutton and Tim Oakes officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613.
