Elizabeth T. Willey, 78, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Dorchester General Hospital. She was born in Cambridge on March 13, 1935 and was a daughter of the late William F. and Mary Hughes Turner.

Mrs. Willey graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1953. On March 13, 1956, she married Richard L. "Dickie" Willey. She was employed with McCrorys Five & Dime from 1951 to 1956 and from 1962 to 1998 she was employed for 35 years at Western Publishing. She enjoyed gardening, hallmark ornaments and reading romance novels. Mrs. Willey was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hallmark Club and the Dorchester Holiday Haulers.

She is survived by her husband Richard L. "Dickie" Willey of Cambridge, three daughters Cindy Lee Vogel of Cambridge, Candy Lynn Elliott and husband Keith of Hurlock and Christi Lane Willey of Cambridge, seven grandchildren Ryan Phillips, John Travers, Jr., Matthew Travers, Patrick Travers, Cory Leisner, Amanda Leisner and Justin Elliott, a great grandchild Josie Lee Travers and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Willey is preceded in death by a brother Benjamin Turner and two sisters Louise Hopkins and Frances Middleton.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 1p.m. at Dorchester Memorial Park with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to The United People's Church, 4186 Osborne Road, Hurlock, MD 21643 or to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311.
