Eloise Shenton Eberspacher, 77, of Vienna passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at The Heartland House in Grasonville. She was born in Cambridge on July 3, 1933 and was a daughter of the late William H. and Lida Schuyler Shenton.

Mrs. Eberspacher attended schools in Cambridge. On July 7, 1950 she married Frederick P. Eberspacher. He passed away on August 1, 1983. She farmed with her husband until she retired in 1995. She loved looking after her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, reading and loved animals. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ where she was involved in the Women's Guild.

She is survived by a daughter Carol Frase and husband Mark of Preston, three sons Douglas Eberspacher and his companion Karen Mills of Williamsburg, Ted Eberspacher and wife Cynthia of Hurlock and Mark Eberspacher and wife Betsy of Salem, eight grandchildren Doug, Scott, Eric, Alex and David Eberspacher, Kate, Michelle and Chrissy Frase, a special niece Pat Creighton, a special sister in law Ann Eberspacher and several other nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Eberspacher is preceded in death by 3 brothers Issac Nichols, Robert Shenton and William Shenton, two sisters Elizabeth Abbott and Virgie Kiniuk and one grandson Charles Eberspacher.

Pallbearers will be Doug Eberspacher, Scott Eberspacher, Eric Eberspacher, Alex Eberspacher, David Eberspacher and Curtis Eberspacher.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Anne S. Gillis officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Memorial contributions can be made to the Immanuel United Church of Christ, 5401 Whitehall Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
