Elsie Mae (Parks) Baker
August 27, 1911 — January 28, 2015
Elsie Mae Baker, 103, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She was born in Davidsonville on August 27, 1911 to the late George L. and Ida Cadle Parks.
Mrs. Baker attended school in Edgewater. Elsie enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and volunteering. She loved to be called Granny.
Elsie is survived by four daughters Rebecca Stanley and husband Harvey of Secretary, Elsie Shimek and husband Tom of Secretary, Ellen Sanjean of Delmar, DE, and Mary Jane Voss and husband Allen of Florida, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Boyer and a brother George Parks.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at East New Market Cemetery with Pastor Robert White officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
