Emma A. Busick, 90, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She was born in New Castle, DE on March 28, 1921 and was a daughter of the late Benjamin E. and Mattie Brittingham Tingle.
Mrs. Busick attended school at Delmar High School. On August 11, 1939 she married James G. Busick, Sr. He passed away on February 22, 2002. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Busick was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Community Tennis League and the Country Club Bridge League.
She is survived by two sons James G. Busick, Jr. and wife Marylee of Baltimore and William T. Busick and wife Concetta of Wardsboro, VT, two grandchildren Stephanie Busick and Carleen Busick.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to James G. Busick Foundation, P.O. Box 904, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
