Emma "Sis" (Horner) Elliott

Emma “Sis” Elliott, 90, of Cambridge passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at UMSMC at Dorchester. She was born in Cambridge on May 1, 1925 and was a daughter of the late William J. and Emma Sinclair Horner.

Mrs. Elliott attended schools in Cambridge. On October 15, 1948, she married Milford W. Elliott, Jr., who passed away on January 16, 2003. Mrs. Elliott was a homemaker. She enjoyed bingo, gardening and going to the slots.

She is survived by a daughter Karen Stack and husband Calvin Stack, Jr. of Cambridge, a son Milford W. “Bunky” Elliott III and wife Paula of Linkwood, three grandchildren Stephen Stack of Church Creek, Kathy Jo Elliott of New Orleans and Christopher Elliott of Cambridge, seven great grandchildren, a special niece Sonja Kozak and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Elliott is preceded in death by three sisters Ottilee Goode, Blanche Perry and Betty Mae Petrowski, three brothers William Horner, George Horner and Daniel Horner.

Pallbearers will be Steve Stack, Stephen Stack, Trevor Stack, Chris Elliott, Dakota Elliott and Bill Elliott.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor George W. Wheatley, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
