E. Wayne Cox

E. Wayne Cox, 71, of Woolford passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at his home. He was born in Baltimore on March 13, 1946 and was a son of the late Laurel E. and Madora Bramble Cox.
Wayne graduated from South Dorchester High School class of 1964. He was a press operator with Airpax for 42 years. On March 9, 2001, he married the former Barbara Joan Filbird. Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a member of the Cambridge Elks.
He is survived by his wife Joan Cox of Woolford, a son David Wayne Cox of Salisbury, a sister Janie Hendricks of Cambridge.
At his request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613 or to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 91, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
