OBITUARY FORM
F. Read Trego, 87, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at his home. He was born in Philadelphia on May 1, 1927 and was a son of the late Roland and Mildred Colbourne Trego.
Mr. Trego graduated from Cambridge High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. On February 8, 1952, he married the former Naomi Brown. Mr. Trego was owner/operator of Trego Construction, Inc. He enjoyed reading history, fishing, hunting and enjoyed being on the water. Mr. Trego was a member of the American Legion Post 91.
He is survived by his wife Naomi Trego of Cambridge, a son Michael Trego and wife Donna of Cambridge, a granddaughter Michelle Trego of Pocomoke City, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mr. Trego is preceded in death by four brothers Melvin Trego, Howard Trego, William Trego and Earl Tregoe.
Pallbearers will be Steven Merrick, Bill Gang, Jack Trego, Albert Linamen, Mark Trego and James LeCates.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock. Family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
