Florence L. Metz
March 26, 1924 — August 2, 2013
Florence L. "Flo" Metz, 89, of Easton formerly of Hurlock passed away on Friday, August 2, 2013 at William Hill Manor in Easton. She was born in New York City on March 26, 1924 and was a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Sara Brown.
She graduated Strawberry Hill High School in Stanford, CT and also graduated from Shorts Business College that is also in Stanford, CT. On June 5, 1956 she married Lloyd Metz, who passed away on April 28, 2004. Flo was employed by Maryland National Bank with over 30 years of service working in the Hurlock and Vienna branches. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church in East New Market.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at East New Market Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
