Frances L. (Jones) Edwards

Frances L. Edwards, 81, of Crapo passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at The Pine’s in Easton. She was born in Crapo on July 11, 1941 and was a daughter of the late John and Mary Moore Jones.

Mrs. Edwards attended schools in South Dorchester. She worked for several crab houses, had a baby sitting business and later worked for the Dorchester County Health Department. On May 27, 1961, she married Richard Edwards who passed away on January 28, 2002. She enjoyed camping, cooking, and baking.

She is survived by a daughter Brenda Moore (Michael Moore) of Colora, a son Richard W. Edwards (Tammy Edward) of Hurlock, grandchildren Michael Edgar, Sean Edgar, Heather Walker, Derrick Murphy and Tara Murphy, great grandchildren Kyle Edgar, Brianna Edgar, Hayden Edgar, Colby Edgar, Blake Edgar, and Marcus Holland. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Edwards is preceded in death by a sister Nettie Powley.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 3pm at Dorchester Memorial Park. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
