Gary Douglas Webster

Gary D. Webster, 65, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at UMSMC at Easton. He was born in Cambridge on January 7, 1951 and was a son of Janice Nicewarner and the late Calvin H. Webster.

Gary graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1969. He also received his AA Degree at Chesapeake College. Gary also attended Old Dominion University, and took an electronic course in Anne Arundel Community College. Gary taught a night course in Electronics for one year at Chesapeake College. He worked at Airpax, where Gary designed a couple of patent breakers. He also owned Heirloom Toys. Gary was an avid wooden toy maker and he did some wall paintings for some of the hospitals in Baltimore.

He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Webster of Secretary, granddaughter Aleya Webster of Secretary, a step daughter Kriss Clough of Church Creek, his mother Janice Webster of Cambridge, two brothers Donald W. Webster and wife Ann of Cambridge and Steven M. Webster and fiancee Lisa Sjolie of Cambridge, two nieces Kelly Dodson and Steffi Webster. Besides his father, Gary is preceded in death by a niece Karey Webster.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor Dave Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
