Genevieve K. (Young) French

Genevieve K. French, 81, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at her home. She was born in Baltimore on November 21, 1935 and was a daughter of the late James and Marie Jewer Young.
She graduated from Patterson Park High School. On April 28, 1962, she married William “Bill” French. Mrs. French was a homemaker and she enjoyed cooking, and playing bridge.
She is survived by her husband William "Bill" French of Cambridge, three sons David French and wife Pat of Brooklyn Park, Mark French and wife Nancy of Stevensville and Matthew French and wife Tina of Pasadena, four grandchildren Adam, Andy, Candice, and Gennie, three great grandchildren Jacob, Ian and Audrey, three brothers and a sister James "Stickey" Young, Tom Young, Ron Young and Jackie Martin. Besides her parents, Mrs. French is preceded in death by her first husband Cecil Carroll, a brother Ed Young, and a sister Gerry Mink.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
