George B. Ricklin, Jr.

George B. Ricklin, Jr., 78, of East New Market passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Mallard Bay Care Center. He was born on May 31, 1945 in Baltimore and was a son of the late George B. Ricklin, Sr. and Janette Carson Ricklin.

Mr. Ricklin attended schools in Baltimore. He worked a supervisor for O.T. Neighoff in Glen Burnie with 33 years of service. On February 14, 2000, he married the former Gloria Robinson. Mr. Ricklin enjoyed going to the slots, and was an avid Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Ricklin of East New Market, stepchildren Lisa Wilson and husband Jack of East New Market, JR Bloom and wife Brooke of Cambridge, six grandchildren Allen, Kassi Jo, Jack Jr. (Abbey), Trace, Wesley, and Winston, and four great grandchildren Lita, Ava, Addee and Isaac, special friends Kenny Neighoff and wife Tee and Jeff Wheeler and wife Lou Ann. Besides his parents, Mr. Ricklin is preceded in death by two precious great granddaughters, three sisters and a brother.

Per Mr. Ricklins request, there will be no formal services. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
