George C. Narvell

George C. Narvell, 71, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Mallard Bay Care Center. He was born in Wilmington, DE on November 14, 1941 and was a son of the late David B. Narvell, Sr. and Alice Sharp Narvell.

Mr. Narvell graduated from Lancaster Mennonite School Class of 1959 in Lancaster, PA. He was a truck driver most of his life. Mr. Narvell enjoyed being with his friends at Smith Family Restaurant in Greenwood, DE. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #09 A.F. & A.M. in Milford, DE. His family and friends would like to thank Mallard Bay Care Center for the care and love they shared with George.

He is survived by his brother David B. Narvell, Jr. and wife Joan of May Landings, NJ, a niece Kimberly Narvell of Middletown, DE, three nephews David T. Narvell, Greg Narvell and Gary Narvell all of Newark, DE. Mr. Narvell is also survived by his extended family and caregivers Annette and Donnie Moore of Crapo, Pam and Brad Simmons and their daughter Lillie of Golden Hill. Besides his parents, Mr. Narvell is preceded in death by his step mother Blance C. Narvell. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613 to help with funeral cost. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
