Geraldine J. (Birch) Larrimore

Geraldine J. Larrimore, 82, of East New Market passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the home of her daughter Tina Larrimore. She was born in Cambridge on July 22, 1938 and was a daughter of the late Paul T. and Agnes Wanex Birch.

Mrs. Larrimore graduated from North Dorchester High School class of 1956. On December 1, 1967, she married Joseph F. Larrimore, who passed away on February 2, 2010. She owned and operated Larrimore's Store in Secretary for many years and later bartended at Big Boy's and Mike's Tavern. Mrs. Larrimore enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, and loved her cats. She was a member of Hurlock American Legion, and was a past honorary member of Secretary Volunteer Fire Company.

She is survived by a son Mike Larrimore and wife Susie of Secretary, three daughters Tina Larrimore of East New Market, Maureen Hansen of Cambridge, Yvonne Brohawn and husband Wayne of Linkwood, six grandchildren Brandon Christopher and wife Brienna, Hillary Hansen, Danielle Burton, Jason Burton, Caitlyn Larrimore, and Michael Larrimore, Jr., several great grandchildren, her twin sister Madeline Marine and husband Frank of East New Market and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Larrimore is preceded in death by a daughter Gloria Hansen and three brothers Michael Birch, William Birch and Paul R. Birch.

Pallbearers will be Jason Burton, Michael Larrimore, Jr., Brandon Christopher, Sam Yockey, Danny McCarter and Greg Wanex.

A walk through visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 11 to 12:30 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge, followed by a private service with Rev. Dennis Gilliard officiating. Interment will be at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to God’s Way Fellowship, P.O.
