Glenda Mills Peters

Glenda Mills Peters, 58 of North Miami Beach, Florida, formerly of Cambridge, passed away at the Palmetto General Hospital in Miami on Monday, September 21, 2009. She was born in Cambridge on October 26, 1950 and was a daughter of the late Carl R. and Margaret Brannock Mills. A She attended schools in Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge High school in 1968. Since 1981she has made her home in North Miami Beach. She was married to Raymond "Barney" Peters in 1972. Glenda was stricken suddenly at her home on Monday and was taken to the hospital where she passed away. Survivors include a daughter Heather D. McGlaughlin and her husband Scott McGlaughlin of Cambridge, one son David Peters and his wife Keri Peters of Cambridge, four grandchildren Lauren McGlaughlin, Kelsey McGlaughlin, Aaron McGlaughlin and Lilly Peters, one sister Gloria M. Pohl and her husband Randy Pohl of Cambridge, one brother C. Richard Mills, and his wife Bobbie Mills of Boca Raton, FL,and her companion of 26 years Eric Bluestein of North Miami Beach, FL, a special niece Teresa Pohl Hughes and several step nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Mills, her fatherA Carl R. Mills and her step mother Magdalen Blann Mills. A funeral service will be held on Monday afternoon at 1:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home in Cambridge with the Rev. Joseph Harmon officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends during the hour preceding the service. PallbearersA will be Scott McGlaughlin, Randy Pohl, Richard Mills, David Peters, Joey Hughes and Eric Bluestein. A
