Gloria Ann (Hawker) Morgan

Gloria A. Morgan, 85, formerly of Preston, passed away on April 28, 2018 at Marley Neck Health and Rehabilitation Center in Glen Burnie, MD.  She was born on October 16, 1932 in Frederick, MD to the late Allen Hawker and Martha Moore Hawker.

Gloria graduated from Frederick High School class of 1951.  On January 10, 1951, she married David E. Morgan, who passed away on November 27, 2011.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.

Gloria is survived by a son Steven L. Morgan of Severn, MD, a daughter Robin R. Vanskiver and her husband Robert of Glen Burnie, and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by a brother Norman Lee Karn and a sister Betty Hawker.

A graveside service will be held at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery located at 6827 East New Market- Elwood Rd, Hurlock, MD 21643 on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 1 PM with Mr. David Tolley officiating.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Maryland SPCA, 3300 Falls Rd,  Baltimore, MD 21211.
