Gloria B. Todd

Gloria B. Todd, 80, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Chesapeake Woods Center, with all the wonderful staff members. She was born in Wingate on April 30, 1931 and was a daughter of the late James H.G. Adams and Modia Reynolds Adams.

She attended school in Wingate. Mrs. Todd was first married to Morris D. Bramble and he passed away on April 17, 1969. On Oct. 1, 1982 she married Reginald C. Todd. She was a seafood worker for Dorchester Crab Company, I.F. Cannon and Son and A.E. Phillips and Son. She enjoyed cross word puzzles, bingo and spending time with her family and her church. She was a member of Taylors Island United Methodist Church and before that she and her family attended St. Thomas United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband Reginald C. Todd of Cambridge, three children Joanie Parks and husband Johnny of Hoopers Island, W. Lance Bramble and wife Kay of East New Market and Jeffrey Bramble of Mardela Springs, step children Darren Todd and wife Lori of Cambridge and Darryl Todd of Plainfield, IN, seven grandchildren Michael Bramble, Josh Parks and wife Kelly, Brittany Todd, Alana Bramble, Joey Parks, Tara Bramble and Brett Bramble, two step grandchildren Wendy Isett and Steve Waldsachs, three step great grandchildren Zachary, Christopher and Luke Isett, two brothers Bill Adams and Wesley Adams, two sisters Mary Frances Dean and Louella Ruark, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her first husband, Mrs. Todd is preceded in death by two brothers James Monroe Adams and Thomas Adams, brothers in law Ralph Glenwood Todd and Robert Christopher Todd.

Pallbearers will be Lance Bramble, Joanie Parks, Jeff Bramble, Darren Todd, Johnny Parks, Josh Parks and Joey Parks.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev.'s Richard Prahl, Sharon Prahl and Robert G. Kirkley officiating. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Association, Eastern Shore Chapter, 209C Milford St., Salisbury, MD 21804.
