Grace Elizabeth (McElroy) Peters

Grace E. Peters, 87, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She was born in Providence, RI on January 27, 1931 and was a daughter of the late Arthur and Grace Keleher McElroy.

She is survived by two daughters Carolyn Elzey and husband Kent of Cambridge, and Beverly Beever and husband Jeff of Trappe, four grandchildren Scott Elzey, Stephanie Elzey, Ryan Elzey, and Lisa Beever, two great grandchildren Ellie Elzey and Anneliese Brennaman and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Ms. Peters is preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers, and a granddaughter Mary Beth Brennaman.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11 am at St. Mary Refuge of Sinners Catholic Cemetery with Father Bruce Byrolly officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary Refuge of Sinners Catholic Church, 2000 Hambrooks Blvd., Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
