Harold S. Hubbard

Harold Stanley Hubbard, 66, of East New Market passed away on Friday, October 21, 2011 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. He was born on February 10, 1945 in Cambridge and was a son of Evelyn Warfield Hubbard and the late John L. Hubbard.
He attended school in Dorchester County. On April 5, 1969 he married the former Betty Jean Robbins. She passed away on July 1, 2004. He worked for Rob Roy and later at Black & Decker. He enjoyed old cars.
He is survived by a son Richard Hubbard of East New Market, his mother Evelyn W. Hubbard of Cambridge, three stepchildren Buddy Mowbray of Rhodesdale, M. Wayne Mowbray of East New Market and Judy Grafton of Cambridge, several step grandchildren, a brother Donald Hubbard of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. Besides his father and his wife, Mr. Hubbard is preceded in death by a brother Darcy Hubbard.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Dorchester Memorial Park with Rev. Gary Crouch officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613.
