Helen A. Anderson

Helen A. Anderson, 74, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2024 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Cambridge on December 22, 1949 and was a daughter of the late Julius L. Greenwood, Sr. and Margaret Swann Greenwood.

On June 4, 1971, she married William Glenn Anderson, Sr. who passed away on January 19, 2015. Mrs. Anderson was a CNA for several of the nursing homes in Cambridge. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by her children Kevin Greenwood, Nancy Anderson and children Ashley and Nikki, Kimberly Andrews and husband David and children Mandy, Matthew, Cody, Mariah, Kaleb, Kylee, Kellen, Kolby, Mailani and Ocean, Margaret Anderson and children Michael, Courtney, Elizabeth, Zyasia, Mikayla, King and Lil Michael, William Glenn Anderson, Jr. of Cambridge, three brothers William “Billy” Greenwood and wife Lydia of Hurlock and Mike Swann and wife Kathy of Hurlock and Julius "Butch" Greenwood, Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Anderson is preceded in death by a sister Viola Mowbray.  

Pallbearers will be members of the family.

 A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 1pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Chris Pettit officiating. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
