Irene Joan Bramble

Irene Joan Bramble, 73 of Vienna passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She was born in Baltimore on October 28, 1938 and was a daughter of the late Cleveland and Mary Maloney Carneal.
Mrs. Bramble graduated from North Dorchester High School class of 1958. She was married to Earl Pittman, Jr. He passed away on February 6, 1969. She was a billing clerk at Dorchester General Hospital until she retired in 2001. She enjoyed knitting, crafts and playing bingo.
She is survived by five children Cheryl Truitt and husband Bill of Mardela, Michael Pittman of Vienna, David Pittman of Vienna, Tina Kemp and husband Howard of Easton and Judy Wingate and husband Richard of Linkwood, five grandchildren Brian Pittman, Haley Truitt, Megan Kemp, Jessica Wingate and Brandon Pittman, two great granddaughters Amaiya Truitt and Brianna Pittman and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Bramble is preceded in death by a sister Marlene Harding. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 1p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. with Rev. Dwayne Dixon officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
