James E. Fairbanks, Jr.

James E. “Jimmy” Fairbanks, Jr., 74, of Milford passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Milford Memorial Hospital. He was born in Cambridge on June 6, 1940 to the late James E. and Elsie Bell Fairbanks, Sr.
James joined the U.S. Army. After the military he moved to New York City later moving to Milford, DE to be closer to his sister. He enjoyed photography, painting and going to auctions and flea markets.
He is survived by two sisters Sandra Ruark and husband Mark of Milford, Anita Lauck and husband Duger of Secretary, two nieces, a nephew and a great nephew. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a son Danny Fairbanks.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park.
