James L. “Jimi” Tobin Jr., 68 of Aberdeen Maryland exited this life on July 2, 2018 in his childhood home. He was born in Havre De Grace, MD on December 10, 1949 to the late James L. Tobin Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Tobin.
He spent most of his years in Aberdeen, Royal Oak Maryland and Rapid City South Dakota. He spent his working life as an automotive mechanic and referred by many who knew him as the best mechanic around. Some of the many things Jimi enjoyed was spending time with family and friends, fishing, boating and crabbing in the Miles River, dirt bike riding in the badlands of South Dakota, pitching cornhole, watching NASCAR races and Ravens football and he was also known as an excellent billiards player. Jimi was very outgoing and led a colorful life which allowed him to make many friends along the way.
Jimi is survived by his only son Belden Clay Tobin and wife Candace of Cambridge, 5 grandchildren Nathan Norman, Selena Tobin, Deanna Tobin, Marissa Tobin and Tyler Tobin, Brother- Robert Tobin, Sister-Roberta Demerest, and spouse Tonya Tobin.
A funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 14th, 2018 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge Maryland with Rev. Randall T. Blackmon officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
