Janice Beach Hoffman

Janice B. Hoffman, 82, of Denver, NC passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at her home. She was born in Salisbury, MD on April 12, 1941, lived in Pocomoke City, MD and moved to Cambridge, MD at the age of nine.  Janice was the daughter of the late John K. and Dorothy Cordrey Beach.  

She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1959. She worked at Airpax for many years.  She loved traveling with family and cherished her Eastern Shore roots.  Janice enjoyed gardening, bird watching and wildlife in general.  

She is survived by two daughters Julie Petza and husband John of Denver, North Carolina and Renee Hoffman-Hudson and wife Lisa of Frankford, DE, grandchildren Gannon Petza, Jennifer Williams, Jamie Petza, Charles Willey, (CJ) and Christine Willey and two sisters Elaine Moore of Easton and Susan Bloom of Vienna, 9 great grandchildren, 5 nieces and godchildren Terri Garcia and Bill Thomas.

Preceding Janice in death was companion Lenord Kober, special friends Brenda Majors, Bonnie Keplinger and beloved great grandson Trent Williams.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 10 to 11 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. MD followed by a graveside service at 12:30 pm, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro, DE.
