Jean Tull (Tull) Radtke
July 21, 1927 — May 16, 2016
On May 16, 2016, Jean T. Radtke, beloved wife of Norbert Radtke, devoted mother of Dr. Nancy Radtke and a son Edward, who preceded her in death.
Born July 21, 1927 and grew up in Federalsburg, MD. She went on to attend Western Maryland College, where she was awarded her BA Degree in English and Education, encouraged by obtaining the status of Cum Laudi. She next enrolled in the Baltimore County Community College Medical Department and received a BS Degree in the Physician’s Assistant program. This vocation which she practiced for 15 years at several Baltimore Hospitals, gave her the most satisfaction and prestige.
Upon her retirement, she and her husband and daughter traveled extensively around the world. Jean and her husband entered Oak Crest Retirement Community in 2013. She was a member of the Maryland Line Chapter of the D.A.R.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Jimmy Harper officiating. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Research Foundation, 3152 Little Road, Suite 146, Trinity, FL 34655.
