Jeannette Marie Miller (nAC.e Stanton), 91, b Chicago, IL December 30, 1919 - d Cambridge, MD April 4, 2011, wife of Max E. Miller (deceased 1987). With marriage, she would live in Chicago, Quincy, IL, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas VI, Scottsdale, AZ (where she would live for 30 years), West Milford, NJ, and ultimately Cambridge, MD. She was an exhibited painter, doll maker (Marshall Fields), published poet, costume designer, illustrator. Grandmother to seven, and great-grandmother to five, she was the beloved mother of Tamara R. Montgomery of Hawaii, Jocelyn D. Panzenhagen of Cambridge, MD and Stanton Kip Miller of New York, all of whom survive her. Surviving siblings: Robert Stanton of Helena, MT, and Sharon Barkdull of Morrison, CO. She was preceded in death by a brother, John David Stanton, and a sister, Jacqueline Terwilliger. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 4 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, Maryland 21613.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Smile Train, 41 Madison Ave., 28th Floor, New York, NY 10010.
