Jennifer D. Brittingham

Jennifer D. "Jeni" Warfield Brittingham, 35, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. She was born on March 8, 1975 in Cambridge and was the daughter of Harold G. Warfield, Sr. and Sherry Horner Hastings.

Jeni graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School class of 1993. On May 29, 1999 she married Michael M. Brittingham. He passed away on Feb. 22, 2011. Jeni was a bookkeeper at Hill's Electric. She enjoyed reading, riding her motorcycle, collecting snow babies and going to the gym.

She is survived by three sons Michael G. Brittingham, Matthew G. Brittingham and Brandon W. Brittingham all of Cambridge, her father Harold Warfield, Sr. and wife Cathy of Cambridge, her mother Sherry Hastings and husband Spanky of Cambridge, a brother Gene Warfield and wife Krista of Salisbury, her grandmother Margaret Warfield of Cambridge, two step sisters Melissa Hastings and Jessica Elzey and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her pets Krager, Tanner, Lilly Mae and Bones. Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Daniel and Helen Horner.

Pallbearers will be Brian Harris, Scott Elzey, David Hill, Brad Lednum, Billy Cannon, John Moore, Howard Patchett and Jimmy Faulkner.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Fred Bahr officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A savings fund has been set up for her sons, c/o Harold Gene Warfield, Jr. to the National Bank of Cambridge, P.O. Box 550, Cambridge, MD 21613.
