Jessica Marie Cole

Jessica Marie Cole, 20, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2009. She was born in Aurora, Illinois on September 12, 1988 and was daughter of Richard L. and Patricia F. Cole.

Jessica graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School class of 2007. She was a sophomore at University of Maryland in College Park. She worked part time in the summer at Dr. Toomey's office. She was a member of the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Society. "Jess" loved life. She was a friend, and brought joy, to everyone she met. She LOVED her friends and family, and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her parents Richard and Patricia Cole of Cambridge, two sisters Cathy Cole of Olney, IL and Janet Waltermire of Newport News, VA; three brothers Kyle Cole, David Cole and John Cole all of Cambridge; maternal grandmother Mary Jefferson of Portsmouth, VA; biological family, Lisa Creason, Leslie Creason, Tasia Creason, LaMontie Williams, and Jasean Creason, and Janet Ransdell of Decatur, IL; one nephew, two nieces, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many, friends.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Cole, Will Napolitan, Ben Brooke, Ryan Harmon, Kyle Elzey, and Patrick Aire.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Richard Prahl officiating. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Jessica Marie Cole Fund at The Talbot Bank, 424 Dorchester Avenue, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
