Joan C. Norman

Joan C. Norman, 88, of Eldorado passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Cleveland, OH on March 5, 1936 and was a daughter of the late Floyd and Eleanor Kleve Gleason.

Mrs. Norman graduated from June 19, 1954 from Shaw High School in East Cleveland. On December 10, 1960, she married Adrian Norman who passed away on July 30, 1994. She was a secretary for Delmarva Community Center. Mrs. Norman enjoyed reading, Bible study, traveling and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children Timothy Norman and wife Amy of Eldorado and Brian Norman and wife Mari Hernandez Norman of Anna, Texas, three grandchildren Caleb Norman and wife Brianna and their children Victoria and Lucas, Tessa Norman Platke and husband Nick and Kamille Norman, a brother Lynn Gleason Jeffersonville, Indiana and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by a sister Cheryl Ann Gleason, twin brothers Dennis Gleason and Daryle Gleason, Keith Gleason, Bruce Gleason and William Gleason

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11am at Dorchester Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Bay Country Church, 714 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
