John P. Faulkner, 83, of Cambridge passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. To many, John was known as Jack or Jackie. Jack was born on February 4, 1939 in Cambridge to Pearl and Wilbur Faulkner.
He enjoyed spending a lot of time fixing cars, lawn mowers or just about anything he could get his hands on. He had a huge passion for music and loved playing the guitar. Jack was always so proud of the music he and his brother Jesse, made in their band over the years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Pearl and Wilbur Faulkner, a sister Jeanette Fairbanks, two brothers Wilbur A. “Buddy” Faulkner and Jesse Faulkner all from Cambridge and a grandson, Raymond Tobat, Jr. from East New Market.
Jack is survived by a sister Betty Travers of Cambridge, four children Deborah Irons Hubbard of East New Market, Alfred Harold Irons III of Denton, Minerva Irons Tobat of Cambridge and John Scott Faulkner of East New Market, several grandchildren and one great grandson, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Jack will have the following pallbearers Raymond Tobat, Kyle Tobat, William Hubbard, Cuki Cruz, Micheal Laird, Jr. and Micheal Laird III.
There will be a private viewing and service for the family only. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
