Joseph "Joe" Bell, Jr.

Joseph “Joe” Bell, Jr., 51, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Chesapeake Woods Center.

Joe was born on October 3, 1964 to Joseph and Minnie Bell in Pahokee, Florida. He was the only child of this union. Joe was educated in the Caroline County Public School system in Maryland. After graduation from the public school system, he attended Caroline Center in Ridgely for numerous years. After this, he transitioned to Pleasant Day Medical Adult Daycare in Cambridge where he remained until his health status began to deteriorate.

Joe enjoyed watching Dukes of Hazard, spending time with his family and friends, eating chocolate chip cookies and shopping around the local Wal-Mart. He was a jovial and caring person to all that knew him. He will be remembered for his great attitude and caring towards others.

Joe leaves to cherish his mother Minnie Bell, his father Joseph Bell, his aunt Mary Louise Gantt and several other relatives. In addition, he leaves numerous special friends at Special Home as well as Pleasant Day Medical Adult Daycare both in Cambridge.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Federalsburg with Pastor Sharon Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust St., Cambridge, MD 21613.
