Joshua C. Baum

Joshua C. Baum, 27, of Linkwood passed away on January 31, 2018 at UMSMC at Easton. He was born in Cambridge on March 30, 1990 and was a son of Patricia Andrews Lauck and Hank and Nick L. Baum, Sr.

Josh graduated from North Dorchester High School. He worked for Judd Fire Protection. Josh enjoyed cooking, singing, video games, fishing, time with friends and helping others especially his grandparents. He was a member of Narcotics Anonymous, and First Baptist Church.

Josh is survived by his mother Patty Lauck and husband Hank of Linkwood, his father Nick Baum, Sr. of Cambridge, two sisters Samantha Baum of Golden Hill and Hannah Lauck of Linkwood, grandparents Weldon Andrews of Cambridge, Bill and Pearl Lauck of Secretary, and Faye Ward of Cambridge, a close cousin Tre Mostrom, whom he loved like a son, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Josh is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Carol Ann Andrews and a brother Nicki Lee Baum, Jr.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor Dave Stewart officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A Celebration of Life following the service at Salem United Methodist Church hall. There will be no burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613 to help defray funeral cost.
