Joyce L. (Brannock) Still

Joyce Layton Still, 77 of Cambridge, Maryland passed away on August 12, 2023 in her home.  She was born in Cambridge, Maryland on April 10th, 1946 the daughter of the late Harold Brannock and late Clara Mace Brannock.

Ms. Still enjoyed being an artist and dancing with her friends.  She loved watching the wild creatures in her backyard and even named them. Joyce loved living in her wooded paradise. She also helped with the community at the cold weather shelter and pit beef barbecues and was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Brannock.

She is survived by her two daughters, Julie A. Still of Surprise, Arizona, and Amy L. Carlin (Chris) of Holly Springs, North Carolina, her sister, Nanelle Rosemere (Jack), nephews Henry "Hank" Brannock and Thomas Brannock and sister in law, Frances Brannock, as well as cousins, Susan Parks (Michael), Buddy Brannock (Bernadette), Sharon Brannock (Donna), Pamela Davey, Gail Dierker (Ron), Margo Murphey (Glenn), and Tommy Brannock (Debbie), and many second cousins.  She also had many friends that loved her dearly including Jane Flowers and Ann Bradford.

No service will be held as per her wishes. Arrangements are in care of Thomas Funeral Home, in Cambridge, MD.  In lieu of flowers her wishes were too give flowers to a living loved one.
