Karen Dail (Dail) Brittingham

Karen D. Brittingham, 63, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Cambridge on June 20, 1952 and was a daughter of the late Roger E. and Katherine Seward Dail.

Karen graduated from Cambridge High School and later graduated from Chesapeake College. She was employed at Warwick Manor in Secretary at the time of her passing. Karen enjoyed reading, playing bingo and doing word search. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Dorchester General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by a daughter Teresa Smith of Cambridge, two granddaughters Megan and Lauren Smith, a brother Larry Dail and wife Martha of Cambridge, a niece Caitlin Dail, a nephew Matthew Dail and a lifetime friend Peggy Anderson.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803.
