Karey E. Webster

Karey E. Webster, 21, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Dorchester General Hospital. She was born in Cambridge on October 22, 1987 and was a daughter of Donald W. and Ann Lewis Webster.

Karey graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School Class of 2005. She had attended Chesapeake College and transferred to UMES in Princess Anne. Karey was working to receive her degree as a Dental Hygienist. She worked at Snapper's Restaurant as a hostess. Some of her hobbies were fishing, cooking, shopping, dancing and loved family and friends. She became a member of Zion United Methodist Church on December 10, 2000.

Karey is survived her parents Donald W. and Ann L. Webster of Cambridge, a sister Kelly D. Webster of Cambridge, paternal grandmother Janice Webster of Cambridge, a aunt Denise L. Wheatley and husband Charles of Cambridge, two uncles Gary D. Webster of Cambridge and Steven M. Webster of Cambridge and several cousins. Karey is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Dorothy and William Lewis and her paternal grandfather Calvin H. Webster.

Pallbearers will be Eric Willey, Lucas Hanson, Seth Young, Matthew Daniels, Chance Wheatley and Matthew Harrington.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church in Cambridge with Rev. Samuel H. McWilliams officiating. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Karey E. Webster, to the Eastern Shore Dental Society, c/o George E. Dent, 8685 Commerce Drive, Easton, MD 21601.
