Kathy Jo Elliott

Kathy Jo Elliott, 49, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at her home. She was born in Easton on May 15, 1973 and was a daughter of Lois Skipper Elliott and the late Milford  W. “Bunky” Elliott III.

Kathy Jo graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School class of 1991. She worked in the home health care until her health started to fail. Kathy Jo loved her children and grandchildren, her cat Pinky and enjoyed writing.

She is survived by five children Dakota Elliott and wife Morgan, Jasmine "Jazz" Stanford, Shammar’e "Shay" Stanford, Luther Stanford, Jr., and Jalayah Stanford, six grandchildren Kashmar'e, Isis, Ayden, Jayla, Jaquan, and Journie, her mother Lois Elliott, a brother Christopher Elliott and wife Jennifer, two nieces Madison Elliott and Avalynn Elliott. Besides her father, Kathy Jo is preceded in death by a daughter Amanda Elliott.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 12 pm at Cambridge Wesleyan Church in Cambridge with Rev. Jack Diehl officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
