Kay N. Tall

March 30, 1938 — February 5, 2013

Kay Noble Tall, 74, of Cambridge passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. She was born in Easton on March 30, 1938 to the late Lee W. and Modie Cannon Noble.

She graduated from Preston High School class of 1956. Kay attended and graduated from Southern Seminary in Virginia in 1958. On June 26, 1970, she married Donald S. Tall, who passed away on October 11, 1981. She worked in patient registration and retired from Dorchester General Hospital. Kay enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards and dominos with her friends and working in her garden. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and Cambridge Yacht Club.

She would not want her family and friends to be saddened by her death, but to celebrate the happy memories through laughter and stories.

She is survived by three daughters Kimberly Leventhal Schneibolk and husband Mark of Gaithersburg, Tracy Leventhal Tyler and husband Ed of East New Market and Terri Leventhal Murphy and husband Scott of Baltimore, a son William J. Tall of Israel, five grandchildren Jill and Jodi Schneibolk, Ben and Abbey Murphy and Devon Tyler, a sister Joan Redgrave, and husband Mike of Rockville, a brother Lee Noble, Jr. and wife Kathy of Preston, and her beloved pet Nikki. Besides her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by a sister in law and brother in law Aileen and Tuffy Brooks.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Cambridge with Pastor Christina Blake officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of her loving husband Don to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803.
