Kenneth Charles Hurst

Kenneth C. Hurst, 58, of Salisbury passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at his home. He was born in Hampton, VA on May 27, 1958 and was a son of Sandra Manor Hurst and the late Kenneth Raymond Hurst.
Kenny graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1976. He worked as a welder with J.L. Marshall until 1997. Later, Kenny worked with the Blind Industries until 2014. He enjoyed wood working. Kenny was a member of the McGuire Air Force Base Civil Air Patrol in New Jersey, and the Choptank Memorial Post 7460 VFW Auxiliary.
He is survived by a son Kevin C. Hurst of Thailand, a daughter Jessica Hurst of Cambridge, four grandchildren, his mother Sandra Hurst of Salisbury, a sister Anita Hurst Wright and husband James R. Wright, Jr. of Rhodesdale. Besides his father, he is preceded in death by numerous aunts and uncles.
Family will receive friends Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wicomico Humane Society, 5130 Citation Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804.
