Kevin D. Burton, 48, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at UMSMC at Dorchester. He was born in Cambridge on July 10, 1965 and was a son of the late David and Peggy Burton.
Kevin attended schools in Cambridge. He enjoyed watching the Baltimore Orioles and cooking.
Kevin is survived by a son Alex Burton of Sharptown, two sisters Sharon Julie Burton of Denton and Mary Lou Smullen and husband Brian of Cambridge, three brothers Doug Burton of Missouri, Mike Burton and fiancee Tara of Cambridge and Joseph Henry of Hurlock and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Kevin is preceded in death by a brother Billy Burton.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been made for Kevin's son Tristen Alexander Burton, c/o The National Bank of Cambridge, 304 High Street, Cambridge, MD 21613.
