Larry A. Davis

Larry A. Davis, Jr., 28 of Portland, Oregon, formerly of Cambridge, passed away at the Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland on Tuesday June 9, 2009. He was born in Cambridge on July 13, 1980 and was a son of Ruth M. Davis and Larry A. Davis, Sr.
Larry attended schools in Cambridge. He had worked at several local fast food restaurants in the Cambridge area, and for the past three years he had been employed at Wal*Mart. Larry enjoyed walking and listening to music. He had moved to Portland in late March. Larry had been in failing health for several months when he passed away in Portland on Tuesday evening.
Survivors include his mother Ruth M. Davis of Cambridge, his father Larry A. Davis, Sr. of Cumberland, four sisters, Jackie Watts of Easton, April Arnett of Hurlock, Heather Plummer of Easton, Amber Davis of Cambridge, paternal grandmother Dorothy Marie Davis of Ocala, Florida, several aunts, uncles and cousins and his extended family at Wal*Mart in Cambridge. He was preceded in death by a sister Jennifer Lee Davis, his paternal grandfather Harry G. Davis, Jr., maternal grandparents Ronald Watts and Jean Leager.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home in Cambridge with the Rev. George W. Wheatley, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Cambridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends during the hour preceding the service.
