Lillian M. (Hobson) Sailor

Lillian M. Sailor, 79, of Cambridge passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 at her home. She was born in Cannock England on September 30, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Thomas Hobson and Kathleen Chilton Hobson.

She graduated from Prairie High School. On October 15, 1982 she married Harlan D. Sailor. Mrs. Sailor worked for Linn County in Iowa as an auditor. She enjoyed bowling, crafts, spending time with her family and her rescue dogs.

She is survived by her husband Harlan Sailor, a son Todd Bontrager and wife Kim, a daughter Kim Bontrager, two stepsons Mark and Chris Sailor.  Ten grandchildren Nick Bontrager, Tony Bontrager, Chad Bontrager, Zach Bontrager, Dalton Heick-Trump, LaShaun Fisher, Lonesa Mishaun, Demetrius Williams, Dominique Rogers and Zach Sailor. Numerous great grandchildren and a very special great niece that is like a grandchild Kylie Jo. Brothers Tom & Rick Hobson and a sister Barb Boston. Besides her parents, Mrs. Sailor is preceded in death by a brother Jamie Hobson and a son Tyler Bontrager.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
