Linda May Condon, 62, of Cambridge passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Condon was born in Cambridge on March 30, 1951, to the late Guy Maguire Harding, Sr. and Helen Hollerman Harding.
She attended North Dorchester High School. She worked for Jackie Vickers as an apprentice beautician. Later she was a homemaker. Mrs. Condon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her husband James Condon, whom she married on September 25, 1975, a daughter Jennifer Fitzhugh of Cambridge, son in law Jamie Fitzhugh of Cambridge, three grandchildren Aubrey Fitzhugh, Trey Fitzhugh and Kayley VanDyke of Cambridge, a brother Guy Harding, Jr. and wife Sharon of Hurlock, four sisters Helen Taylor and husband Richard of Hurlock, Doris LeCompte, and husband Gary of Hurlock, Sharon Hurley and husband Earl of Rhodesdale, and Betty Lowe of Cambridge, 17 nieces and nephews, 39 great nieces and nephews, 17 great-great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Helen Harding, a brother in law Wilber (Piney) Lowe, 2 nieces Dianna Bramble and Kimberly LeCompte, and 1 great-great niece Sidney Bramble.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Fitzhugh, Mark Lowe, Gary LeCompte, Jr., Butch Willoughby, Steve Conn, Sr., and Toby Hurley. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Bramble, Sr., and Kenny Hurlock, Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. M. Scott Conn officiating. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
