Linda L. Lowman, 49, of Hebron passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at her home. She was born in Fairfield, CA on January 20, 1961 and was a daughter of the late Edward and Henny Pederson Fender.
Ms. Lowman graduated from Smyrna High School. She was a truck driver. She loved her family and animals. Ms. Lowman also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.
She is survived by a sister Patti Jones of Hebron, a brother Bruce Fender of Hebron, nieces Cindy Coker and companion Jed Todd of East New Market and Melissa Cook and husband Bryan of Vienna, a nephew Ricky Coker of Hebron, a great nephew Cole Coker, two great nieces Miranda Cook and Lilly Cook and a special friend who was like a sister of many years Vanessa Young.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Cook, Bruce Fender, Jed Todd, Kevin Cook, Ricky Coker and Cole Coker.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Bay Country Church with Pastor Jason Bleyer officiating. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613 or to the American Cancer Society, c/o Doris Weber, 5163 Maple Dam Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
