Lisa L. Herbert

Lisa L. Herbert, 52, of Linkwood passed away on Thursday July 25, 2024 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Sailsbury. She was born November 11, 1971 in Cambridge to Helen Coffman Niblett-Griffiths and the late Levin “Tom” Niblett, Sr. 

Mrs. Herbert graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School class of 1989. On June 14, 1997 she married Alan Herbert. Lisa worked for National Bank of Cambridge (Bay Vanguard Bank) and at the time of her passing working for the City of Cambridge. She loved her dogs, the outdoors and loved going to Ocean City. Lisa was a member of the Church Creek Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary where she served as president and Salvation Army Church. 

She is survived by her husband Alan Herbert of Linkwood, mother Helen Niblett-Griffiths and husband John of Cambridge, a sister in law Sherri Niblett of Bucktown, a niece Haley Hacker and husband Spencer and other nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her father, Lisa is preceded in death by a brother Levin M. “Tommy” Niblett, Jr. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 12pm at the Salvation Army Church in Cambridge. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613 or to Church Creek Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 16, Church Creek, MD 21622. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
