Louise H. (Higgs) Jackson

Louise H. Jackson, 94, of Salisbury passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. She was born in Cambridge on November 14, 1922 and was a daughter of the late Elmer E. and Elsie Wilson Higgs.
She graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1941. Mrs. Jackson retired in 1983 from the Bursar’s Office, University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Salisbury.
She is survived by two special nephews James "Jay" Peters and C.S. Jackson, and a cousin Betty Lloyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband William J. Peters, her second husband Thomas J. Jackson, a sister Florence H. Brannock and a sister in law Charlotte Peters.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10 am at Dorchester Memorial Park with Rev. William Sterling officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 149 Camden Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21801. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
