Louise L. Mitchell

Louise L. "Weasie" Mitchell, 95 of Cambridge formerly of Salisbury passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She was born in Cambridge on January 18, 1918 and was a daughter of the late Clarence F. and Pauline Jones Mitchell.
She graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1935. Miss Mitchell attended Salisbury State Teachers College and graduated on June 5, 1939, where she was still an active member of The Delta Kappa Gama Society. Miss Mitchell retired from the Wicomico County Board of Education. She enjoyed gardening and traveling.
She is survived by her caretaker Helen Saulsbury of Cambridge. Besides her parents, Miss Mitchell is preceded in death by a devoted friend Martha Jones.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Dorchester Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
